Dr. Mckitty is a distinguished dermatologist in California who specializes in skin cancer and medical dermatology. In Southern California where she works, skin cancer affects most of her patients tremendously. Dr. Mckitty is thankful that she is able to help this population detect the disease early on and treat them in the least invasive way possible. She uses a variety of different treatment approaches and techniques depending on what is best for her patients. Her favorite part about being a doctor is the wonderful patients she is able to work with because she thoroughly enjoys interacting with them so much.
Dr. Mckitty graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and was awarded the Dean’s Award for academic excellence. She is also board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. In addition to her work as a clinical doctor, Dr. Mckitty has also published articles for Skin and Aging and has presented at several national dermatology meetings. In her free time she is passionate about reading, going to the movies and shopping. She loves traveling, especially to international destinations, and tries to explore new countries whenever she gets the chance. A fun fact is that Dr. Mckitty is obsessed with history and World War 2.
