Are you looking for a new primary care doctor?
Primary care physicians are doctors who practice general medicine and are the first person a patient visits when they have a non-emergency health concern. PCPs are the first point of contact for a patient and serve as an advocate for their healthcare needs. These doctors tend to focus on preventative medicine and perform a series of screenings at annual physical exams to look out for early signs of any disease. Finding an experienced and trustworthy primary care doctor is essential for staying healthy because this is the doctor a patient will visit most frequently.

Prior to pursuing the medical field, Dr. Kakehashi played guitar in several rock bands in Venice, Santa Monica and West Los Angeles in the 70’s and 80’s. He likes to say, “I was an ‘OK’ guitarist, but there was always someone better than you, I just could not get to the next level.” This is the reason he eventually moved to medicine after several years of practicing and performing in bands. Dr. Kakehashi still holds his love for music and continues to play his collection of vintage acoustic and electric guitars as a way to relax and meditate after a stressful day of work.
