Dr. Isakson is an excellent Allergy and Immunology specialist with over 19 years of experience as a physician and over 29 years of experience in science, medicine and business. He completed his M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology at the University of Connecticut and his B. Sc. degree in Physiology at McGill University in Montreal. He completed his Science Degree in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies program at the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Isakson is board certified in both Allergy and Immunology and General Pediatrics and currently runs his own independent practice in Petersburg, FL. He is licensed in Florida, Georgia and New York. Prior to starting his own practice, Dr. Isakson held the role of Medical Director of Allergy and Immunology Services at MacDill AFB and he helped start their Allergy and Immunology Clinic. Using his Business degree, he also founded and is the Principal Managing Member of the consulting firm Lynchpin Health Strategies, a company which works closely with the intersection of medicine, science and business.
Dr. Isakson was one of twenty people to receive leadership training through the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in 2019. He is also a member of the American Medical Association’s Physician Innovation Network as well as an advisor to the healthcare and life sciences companies at ScaleHealth. Dr. Isakson is extremely involved in the medical and sciences community and continues to take advantage of opportunities to expand his knowledge and experience. He uses his multidisciplinary background to work with clients both within and outside the healthcare industry. While working at his consulting company, he uses the same approach he does to medicine by incorporating shared decision making and data analysis to create optimal strategies for his clients. Dr. Isakson is a highly skilled businessman, scientist and physician who is a leader in the medical field.
